Terms of Service

Headline helps you run your own recruiting outreach. You save people you want to contact, Headline finds what you have in common, writes email drafts from your templates, puts them in your Gmail or Outlook drafts, and reminds you about follow-ups. Headline never sends an email for you: you read, edit and send every message yourself.

You must be at least 16, and old enough where you live to agree to these terms. One account per person. Keep access to your email account secure, since that’s how you sign in.

You agree to:

• Save only people you actually intend to contact, one profile at a time. Don’t use Headline to collect profiles in bulk or to build lists for anyone else.
• Follow the rules of the sites you use with Headline, including professional networking sites and your email provider.
• Send only honest, personal outreach. Don’t use Headline for spam, harassment, or messages that pretend to be someone else.
• Not try to break, overload, copy or get around the limits of Headline, or access anyone else’s account.

You’re responsible for the emails you send and for what you put into your profile, notes and templates.

Drafts are written partly by AI, and email addresses are educated guesses based on each company’s usual format. Either can be wrong. Read every draft and check the address before you send. We don’t promise any reply, interview or job.

• Free trial: your first 3 saved contacts are free, each with one draft. No card needed.
• Monthly: $4.99 a month, charged automatically each month until you cancel. To cancel, click Manage billing on your Profile page, or email support@headlinerecruiting.com. Canceling stops the next charge; you keep access until the end of the month you’ve paid for.
• Season Pass:$24.99, paid once, for 6 months of access. It doesn’t renew.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments aren’t refunded, including for a partly used month or season.
• If prices change, we’ll tell you before your next monthly charge. A Season Pass you’ve already bought isn’t affected.

What you put into Headline (your profile, resume, contacts, notes and templates) stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run Headline for you, as described in the privacy policy.

You can delete your account anytime at the bottom of the Profile page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we’ll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

Headline is new and still changing. Features may be added, changed or removed. If we ever shut Headline down, we’ll tell you ahead of time.

Headline is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we don’t promise it will be error-free or always available, and we disclaim implied warranties such as fitness for a particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost opportunities or offers, and our total liability for any claim about Headline is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

If these terms change, we’ll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change matters. Using Headline after that means you accept the new terms. Questions? Email support@headlinerecruiting.com.
